What Makes Life

Are you standing like a rock overlooking everything?

Are you wondering is this the best that it could be?

Is this the best that it could be? Is this the best that it could be?

Why are you so sure of what you cannot see?

There is more to life than just the obvious, the observable

What makes life what it is is not the forgettable.

What makes life what it is is the beauty all around,

Invisible but to those who choose to look above the ground

Choosing to endure is one of the hardest choices

Choosing to see makes one free

Being free is the way to be

Yes, life is a matter of choosing to see

There is more to life than just the obvious, the observable

What makes life what it is is not the forgettable.

What makes life what it is is the beauty all around,

Invisible but to those who choose to look above the ground

Every moment could bring anything

Every moment is a chance to be free

Every moment you can choose to see

Life the way it is meant to be (Free)

There is more to life than just the obvious, the observable

What makes life what it is is not the forgettable.

What makes life what it is is the beauty all around,

Invisible but to those who choose to look above the ground

What makes life

Dose of Inspiration 4/30

“Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.” – Roy T. Bennett

Everyone has fears, insecurities. Part of thinking and decision making and being alive is to carry these fears and insecurities around with us wherever we go. It’s just part of being alive, and is universal. However, though it can be difficult, we always have a choice whether to give in to those fears and insecurities.

Likewise, we always have a choice (though it’s easier said than done) to go about life from a place of hope and love rather than fear. It’s a choice to try to be conscious of every moment of everyday. It won’t always be easy, but it will lead to greater possibilities.

Inspiration 4/26

“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.” – Oscar Wilde

It’s useful and practical to have an established routine. It enables you to get things done faster and easier. It’s also important to live in the moment and appreciate life as it happens. Life is all about balance. It’s not always easy, but when you learn to balance your life and priorities, you can start to live.

Enjoying the Journey

It’s good to have goals. It’s necessary to have a point you’re working towards, so that everyday and every decision means something. Even if it’s just a very small step, it’s still important to be reaching for something rather than just grabbing air. With that said, it’s also important to live in the present and not in your worries about the past or future. In that way, it’s important to enjoy the current moment.

These might seem like conflicting ideas. However, they coincide with each other. Think of it as a balancing act. When you have something your working towards, the present becomes more meaningful. Each moment becomes more enjoyable when it has a purpose.

This is all very well, but knowing what you’re reaching for, what your purpose is, is a continual process. We are always learning and discovering things about ourselves and the world around us, which constantly evolves our state of being and why we make the decisions that we do. So, in a nutshell, it is important both to have a destination to work towards and to enjoy the journey getting there.
