Have you ever been through yet another week, doing the laundry again, asking yourself “what’s the point”? Well, if you said no, you’re lying. We’ve all been there. I’m not necessarily talking about feeling down. Rather, simply wondering how another week could have gone by. How you could be doing the laundry now when you just did it yesterday. Well, truth be told, it was two weeks ago. It feels like yesterday.
Continuing this line of thought, if you just did the laundry yesterday, what have you been doing for the last two weeks? At the moment, you have no idea.
Time can appear cruel sometimes. It takes a year for a bad day to pass but a day for a good year to pass. Doesn’t that seem cruel? In truth, as with most things in life, it’s mainly a matter of perspective. That’s easy to say, of course, from an outside perspective especially.
But it’s true.
How you think of things can have a huge impact on your life.
Yet, from time to time, we still wonder, “What’s the point?”. Well, if you really want an answer, the point is what you make it. But there’s always a point.
